The transmitter Bonhoure was a transmitter of the TDF in Bonhoure , a suburb of Toulouse . It went into operation in 1986 and used a 61 meter high freestanding steel lattice tower as an antenna carrier .

On September 2, 2013, following a judgment of March 4, 2010, the transmitter had to be shut down due to protests by the population, although an operating permit was originally issued until 2022. The broadcast programs were relocated to the Ramonville broadcaster , which, however, is also controversial because of the increased radiation levels.
