content

"Sennen-Ballade" is a film ballad with Senntum - farmer Werner Meile and his family. The focus is on everyday dairy and farm life on the “Unteres Aueli” Alp near Schwägalp (AR) and on their farm in Dicken (SG). The film gives an insight into a holistic form of existence between humans , work and animals in an annual rhythm. This also includes the festival world with the Alpfahrt and the Alpabfahrt , the New Year's Eve in Schwellbrunn (AR) and the surrounding area, as well as the Senntum Schnitzen . Werner Meile works as a so-called «Chüelischnitzer».
