Sensitive Skin ( German : "Sensitive Skin") is a Canadian comedy series with Kim Cattrall in the lead role. The plot of the series is based on the British series of the same name, which was produced in 2005 and 2007 by Hugo Blick with Joanna Lumley in the lead role. In the first season, Don McKellar served as the director and Bob Martin as the scriptwriter for all six episodes. The second season of the series was broadcast from May 15 to June 19, 2016. The series was discontinued after the second season and was not extended for a third season.

Production and broadcast
In October 2012 it was announced that Kim Cattrall was hired to lead and produce the series Sensitive Skin . The shooting of the six-part first season took place over a period of six weeks in Toronto . The broadcast of the first season began on July 20, 2014 on HBO Canada and ended on August 24, 2014. In December 2014, the extension for a second season, which in turn will consist of six episodes. Filming for this season began in Toronto in spring 2015 and ended in early July 2015. The second season was broadcast from May 15 to June 19, 2016.
