Sergei Sergejewitsch Mylnikow ( Russian Сергей Сергеевич Мыльников ; born June 18, 1982 in Chelyabinsk , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey goalkeeper .

Career

Sergei Mylnikow, son of the former Russian goalkeeper Sergei Alexandrowitsch Mylnikow , began his career in 1999 with Krylya Sovetov Moscow in the second-rate Wysschaja Liga . In 2006 he returned to his hometown for the Russian first division club HK Traktor Chelyabinsk , for whom he played in the following three game years as the second goalkeeper behind Georgi Gelashvili and Danila Alistratow in the Super League and the Continental Hockey League . At his next club Severstal Tscherepowez Mylnikow was under contract in the 2009/10 season. Together with the Slovak Rastislav Staňa he formed the goalkeeper duo at Sewerstal. In the same season he also ran for Metallurg Schlobin in the Belarusian extra league . In October 2010 he was committed by HK Ertis Pavlodar from the Kazakh championship , where he spent the entire 2010/11 season.

For the 2011/12 season Mylnikow was committed by the KHL participant Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg , but left the club in the same year and was committed by Ariada-Akpars Wolschsk .
