Sergei Wladimirowitsch Lipilin ( Russian Сергей Владимирович Липилин ; born August 26, 1965 in Nizhneudinsk ) is a Russian rear admiral and deputy commander of the Black Sea Fleet . From October 2014 to January 2018 he commanded the group of Northeastern Troops and Armed Forces of Russia in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky .

Life

Lipilin graduated from the Faculty of Mine and Torpedo Weapons at the Pacific Officers' College " SO Makarow " in 1987 . He was then used in the 173rd Missile Ship  Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, which was deployed on Kamchatka . He served as a group commander and as a combat section commander mine / torpedo (GA-3) on the frigates "Retiwy", "Rezkij" and "Razumny" of Project 1135 . Later he was first officer on the frigate "Letutschi". From 1995 he was used as the first officer on the guard missile cruiser " Tscherwona Ukraina ". When the ship was transferred from Kamchatka to the Primorsky Krai in the mid-1990s to the 36th surface ship division of the Primorsk Flotilla, Lipilin took over various command and staff posts in this division. He was deputy chief of staff of a unit, commander of the destroyers "Besbojasnenny" and "Bystry" as well as the missile cruiser " Varyag " and from 2008 chief of staff of the 36th division. In 2009 he became commander of the 30th surface ship division of the Black Sea Fleet. In 2012 he graduated from the Naval War Academy NG Kuznetsov and later the Military Academy of the General Staff , both with “red diplomas”. By Presidential Decree No. 1133 of August 8, 2012, and by order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation of September 9, 2012, he was employed as Chief of Staff and First Deputy Commander of the Group of Northeastern Troops and Armed Forces of Russia. In 2014 he led a group of ships in the Pacific Fleet in the Russian-Chinese maneuver “Peace Mission 2014”. In October 2014, he was deployed as the commander of the Group of Northeastern Troops and Armed Forces of Russia. On June 11, 2015 he was appointed rear admiral. On January 29, 2018, Lipilin was appointed Deputy Commander of the Black Sea Fleet by President Putin .
