Sergejew ( Kazakh Сергеев , Russian Сергеевка Sergejewka ) is a city in Kazakhstan . The place with 7,622 inhabitants (as of 2020) is the administrative center of Audany Schal Aqyn in Northern Kazakhstan .

geography

Sergejew is located in northern Kazakhstan in the Northern Kazakhstan region around 160 kilometers southwest of Petropavl and around 150 kilometers west of Kokshetau on the Ishim River . To the south of the city is the Sergejew Dam , which dams the river over a length of 75 kilometers and forms a reservoir.
