Presnowka ( Kazakh and Russian Пресновка ) is a village ( Selo ) in northern Kazakhstan , near the border with Russia .
Geographical location
The village is located in the Northern Kazakhstan region , about 130 km west of the regional capital Petropavlovsk and 15 km south of the border with Russia. It is the administrative center of the Rajons Zhambyl , named after the Akyn Zhambyl Schabajew .
The village is not to be confused with the village of Presnovka , which is also located in northern Kazakhstan 25 km north of Petropavl in Kyzylshar Raion .
