Serghei Dadu (born January 23, 1981 in Chișinău , Moldovan SSR ) is a former Moldovan football player . He played in the position of striker from 2002 to 2013 for the Moldovan national football team .

Career

His career began in 1999 with the multiple Moldovan champion Sheriff Tiraspol . There he stayed under contract for five years, but only played one season for the club. He was loaned to other Moldovan clubs until 2002. He played for Alania Wladikawkas for the first time in the 2003 and 2004 seasons before signing with CSKA Moscow in 2004 . He only played one game for ZSKA and was loaned to Alania again in the 2005 season. In 2006 he went back to Sheriff Tiraspol for one season. Then he went to Denmark for two years, where he was runner-up in 2007 with FC Midtjylland . In 2008 he was loaned back to Vladikavkaz, before he signed a contract there in 2009 and took 3rd place in the 1st division . Since 2012 he played again for Sheriff Tiraspol. In February 2013 he terminated his contract and ended his career.

For the Moldovan national team he played 9 games in the qualification for the 2006 World Cup and 5 games in the qualification for the European Championship 2008 .
