Serhat Kot (born August 12, 1997 in Bielefeld ) is a German-Turkish soccer player .

Career

Football club career

The midfielder Serhat Kot began his career at the age of five years at VfL Schildesche and four years later moved to VfL Theesen . At the age of twelve, Kot moved to the youth department of Borussia Dortmund . For Dortmund he played 49 games in the B-Junioren-Bundesliga and scored ten goals. In the A-Jugend, Kot played once in the UEFA Youth League before moving to league rivals FC Schalke 04 in the second half of the 2014/15 season. In the 2015/16 season, Kot then went on to Preußen Münster . Serhat Kot had 32 games and six goals in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga .

After his youth, Kot moved to the Turkish fourth division club Altay İzmir , but returned to Germany in January 2017. He joined the second team of 1. FC Nürnberg , for which he was used 13 times without scoring in the Regionalliga Bayern . In the summer of 2017, Serhat Kot then moved again to Turkey and from then on played for the second team of Fenerbahçe Istanbul . On February 11, 2018, Kot made his first-team professional debut at the Fenerbahçe Süper Lig match at Istanbul Başakşehir FK . Serhat Kot came on for Alper Potuk in his team's 2-0 win . For the 2019/20 season he moved to the Netherlands for the second division club MVV Maastricht .

Others

For the Turkish U16 national team, Kot completed two missions in March 2013, in which he did not score. In addition to his football career, Kot was active in futsal for the MCH Futsal Club Sennestadt .
