Shaham Joyce (born November 18, 1978 in Fort Carson , Colorado ) is an American pop singer . He became known in 2001 as one of the singers of the German R'n'B group Bro'Sis .

history

Since Shaham Joyce's father, Billy Joyce , was stationed in the US Army in Heidelberg , he grew up in Fort Carson and Heidelberg. Shaham Joyce left the ninth grade of the Wiesloch high school and began an apprenticeship as a hairdresser , which he dropped out after two years. He was a member of the bands "Locos" and "Me and the Heat", a Walldorf session band.

Joyce formed the band Bro'Sis from 2001 together with Giovanni Zarrella , Hila Bronstein , Ross Antony , Faiz Mangat and Indira Weis , which emerged from the second season of the casting show Popstars . Due to Joyce's early popularity, the single "Bodyrock" was released in early 2002, which Joyce had already recorded. The single made it to number 11 in the German charts. The band Bro'Sis finally broke up in early 2006. Then Joyce appeared with Snagga Puss and Daddy Freddy and recorded the song "Girls dem" with them. In 2005, Joyce founded the band “Da Loc” together with the keyboard player of “Locos” at the time. The jointly recorded album was never released, however, as the band quickly disbanded due to personal differences.

Shortly afterwards he moved to Hamburg, where he lives with his wife, who was married in 2008, and their daughter (* 2008). Joyce can be heard on two songs on Tuklan's album "Up Again". He works as a rapper on the piece "Opachki" by the Russian band "Brigada United". To promote two perfumes, Joyce recorded the songs "First Love, First Kiss" and "Everytime", which were available on the Internet.

On October 9, 2008, Shaham Joyce was seen as a guest on the program “ Jana Ina & Giovanni - We are pregnant ”. In February 2010 Joyce cast 36 school dropouts as a jury member in cooperation with the employment agency and the Stage School Hamburg , 19 of whom were then given the opportunity to be trained by professional trainers for six months free of charge in the Stage School.

Joyce has been a singer in the soul band Empire Statement since 2013 . He also works in an espresso bar.
