Sharonville is a city in Butler County and Hamilton County in the US state of Ohio . At the time of the 2000 census , the city had a total of 13,840 inhabitants.
history
The first settlers reached what is now Sharonville between 1788 and 1792. In 1791 Henry Runyan bought the first land. The new settlement was named Sharon , named after a small town in Pennsylvania and divided into 71 lots for a total of 47 settlers.
In 1872, Sharon was hooked up to the railroad network before the place was renamed Sharonville in 1876 because of conflicts with another town called Sharon in eastern Ohio. In 1962, a total of 5,000 people lived in Sharonville, after which the city was granted city rights. Today there are more than 13,800 people in Sharonville.
