Shinji Orito

Shinji Orito ( Japanese 折 戸 伸 治 , Orito Shinji ; born July 30, 1973 in Hyōgo Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese composer and arranger who produced the music for well-known Ren'ai Adventures . Once an employee of Leaf and Tactics , he currently works for the game developer Key .

Career

After graduating from college, Shinji Orito started working as a bank clerk. Due to an economic recession , which resulted in a restructuring of the bank, he left his previous employer. He found a new profession as a composer at the computer game developer TGL , but was invited by his former school friend Naoya Shimokawa to work for the game developer Leaf . Orito accepted this offer from the later chairman of Aquaplus . In 1995 he began producing the music for the game titles DR² Night Janki , Filsnown: Hikari to Koku and Shizuku , the predecessors of Erogēs To Heart . During the production of Hatsune no Naisho !! he left Leaf and took a part-time job to produce parts of Dōsei's music for developer Tactics . He was taken over by Tactics and helped create the music for the Moon games . and One - Kagayaku Kisetsu e with.

Prior to that, he had already gained experience in producing music for dojin games as a hobby. To this end, he often visited the BSS called Unison-BSS . After this mailbox he named the Dōjin Circle Unison Label . Many members of this group focused on the music that stylistically resembled that of bishōjo games. Within this group he was active from 1994 to 2000, although he had already embarked on a professional career. He also became a member of the professional composers' association Unison Sound Team , where he worked under the pseudonyms Gamma ( が ん ま ) and Gunman ( が ん ま ん ).

In 1999 he left Tactics along with some of the staff working at Moon. and One had worked to found Studio Key under the publisher Visual Art’s . The founders included Jun Maeda , Itaru Hinoue , Naoki Hisaya and OdiakeS , among others . He was involved in all Key releases ( Kanon , Air , Clannad , ...) and released several albums with Jun Maeda, OdiakeS and other artists under the independent Key Sounds Label . His first album for this label was Humanity ... , which he produced for the temporarily founded band Work-S . The Remix - Album OTSU Club Music Compilation Vol.1 he took over the leadership and became a member of OTSU (Organized trance Sequential Unit), a music label and association of musicians under Visual Art's self. During his time at Key he also worked on the work of other developers under Visual Art's. He was also involved in the creation of the games Sense Off by otherwise, Shoya Kenjō by Giant Panda and Realize by Playm. In 2001, he composed the music of Anime - TV series Onegai Teacher . He composed the title Precious for Mami Kawada's first album Seed in 2006.

Since December 2007 he has hosted the Internet radio program Key Radio together with Itaru Hinoue and Chiro (an employee at Pekoe) . This is a show in which the audience can influence the content themselves and, for example, formulate questions to the trio. In 2008, work began on Key's seventh game, Rewrite , in which he was to design the game music again.
