Siddhicharan ( Nepali सिद्धिचरण Siddhicharan ) is a city ( municipality ) in western Nepal in the Okhaldhunga district .
Okhaldunga district administration is located in Siddhicharan.
The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Andheri , Barnalu , Jyamire , Okhaldhunga , Rumjatar and Salleri . After further incorporations in 2017, the urban area covers 167.88 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Siddhicharan had 16,696 inhabitants (of which 7,595 were male) in 4,374 households. After further incorporations in 2017, the population grew to around 28,000.
