Siegfried Borelli

Siegfried Borelli (born June 2, 1924 in Berlin ) is a German dermatologist , emeritus professor of the Technical University of Munich and a medical professional .

Career

Borelli studied medicine and psychology in Berlin, Prague and Hamburg. He received his doctorate in both subjects . Borelli also completed his studies in philosophy and history in Hamburg . His medical habilitation finally dealt with the development of contact eczema in the hairdressing profession.

He was director of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Dermatology and Allergology at Biederstein. He was also the founding director of the Alexanderhausklinik in Davos.

Borelli is the founder of the reference work Diseases of the Skin and Mucous Mucosa through Contacts in Work and Environment , which he later continued as a toxic catalog database .

In addition, he was also involved in professional politics as the chairman of the board of trustees of the Bavarian Academy for Occupational, Social and Environmental Medicine, as well as in the presidium of the German Society for Trauma, as a delegate of the Bavarian and German Medical Congress and in the assembly of representatives of the Bavarian Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and is now active as emeritus in the medical district and district association of Munich and on the board of the district association of the Hartmannbund .
