Siegfried Möslein

Siegfried Möslein (born July 1, 1927 in Hasenthal ; † June 10, 2009 in Großheirath ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Möslein attended elementary and advanced school, then worked as an air force helper as well as in labor and military service and in the war. After the war he studied pedagogy and worked as a primary school teacher, later rector and school director. He was the founding chairman of the district youth association Coburg and the district youth association of Upper Franconia as well as a state board member in the Bavarian youth association . He was also Gauschützenmeister for the districts of Coburg , Lichtenfels and Kronach in the Bavarian Schützenbund , a member of the administrative committee of the Coburg State Theater and the Coburg District Hospital and a member of the supervisory board of the Coburg District's non-profit housing association.

Möslein was district councilor from 1956 to 2002 and from 1956 to 1978 chairman of the CSU district parliamentary group in the Coburg district as well as a member of the CSU district board of Upper Franconia . From 1970 to 1994 he sat in the Bavarian state parliament . From 1974 he was always elected directly in the Coburg constituency. From 1978 to 1986 he was the deputy chairman of the CSU parliamentary group, and from October 22, 1981 he was the first vice-president of the Bavarian parliament.
