Siegfried Seidel-Dittmarsch (born January 4, 1887 in Pammin , Arnswalde district , † February 20, 1934 ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

Seidel-Dittmarsch attended elementary school , later the Luisenstädtische Gymnasium in Berlin . After graduating from high school, he began a career as a career officer in the Prussian Army . In 1906 he became a lieutenant in the infantry regiment "von Stülpnagel" (5th Brandenburgisches) No. 48 in Küstrin . There he later became an adjutant .

During the First World War , Seidel-Dittmarsch fought at the front, where he was seriously wounded. Later he was employed in various higher staffs (General Command, Army High Command). After the war he became a consultant in the Prussian War Ministry and the Reich Defense Ministry . In 1921 he left the Reichswehr at his own request with the rank of major . In the following years he earned his living by doing commercial work in commercial and industrial companies.

In July 1932 , Seidel-Dittmarsch was elected to the Reichstag as a candidate of the NSDAP for constituency 4 (Potsdam I) , to which he initially belonged until November 1932. In the general election in November he lost his seat first again. In the Reichstag election of March 1933 , Seidel-Dittmarsch was able to return to the Reichstag as a member of the Reichstag for his old constituency , which he subsequently belonged to until his death in February 1934.

In 1933, Seidel-Dittmarsch became head of the command staff at the Reichsführer of the SS of the NSDAP, Heinrich Himmler, with the rank of SS group leader . In addition, he held the office of a Prussian State Council and was an inspector in the middle of the Supreme SA leadership .

Siegfried Seidel-Dittmarsch died in Berlin in 1934 at the age of 47 and was buried in the old St.-Matthäus-Kirchhof in Schöneberg . In the course of the leveling of the cemetery carried out by the National Socialists in 1938/1939, his remains were reburied in the south-west cemetery in Stahnsdorf near Berlin.
