The Silver Wind is the sister ship of the Silver Cloud , which was commissioned almost a year earlier , but differs slightly from this in the interior layout.

Six of the nine decks are available to passengers. The 149 cabins (two of which are handicapped accessible) are all called "suites" by the shipping company and have a minimum size of 22 m². Some suites can be occupied by three people, then a maximum of 319 passengers are possible. There are two restaurants, a theater and a swimming pool. The language on board is English.
