Bertagna made her debut in the World Cup in February 2013 in Silvaplana and finished in 13th place. In January 2014 she achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in Gstaad . In her first Olympic participation in Sochi in 2014 , she was eighth in the first-ever slopestyle competition. In the 2014/15 season she came second at the Stubai Jam in Neustift im Stubaital and at the SFR Freestyle Tour in Vars . At the 2015 Freestyle Skiing World Championships on Kreischberg , she finished fifth. At the end of August 2015 she took second place at the New Zealand WinterGames and World Cup in Cardrona . She also came second in the New Zealand WinterGames in the Big Air competition. In the 2016/17 season she came in second place three times in the World Cup. In addition, she won her first World Cup victory in Big Air in Mönchengladbach and at the end of the season she finished eighth in the overall World Cup and second in the Big Air World Cup. At the X-Games Norway 2017 in Hafjell , she was eighth in Big Air. In the 2017/18 season, she won the Big Air World Cup with three top ten finishes, including second place in Québec . She finished fifth in Big Air at the 2019 Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Park City .
