Silvia Meisterle (* 1978 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Silvia Meisterle grew up in Perchtoldsdorf , where she attended elementary school and high school. In addition, she completed a classical ballet training for ten years. After graduating from high school , she first studied art history and theater studies in Vienna, later followed by acting studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz , which she completed in 2002. From 1999 to 2004 she played at the Schauspielhaus Graz , in 2003 at the Linz Theater Phönix in Unter Fischen by Volker Schmidt .

Theater of Youth

From the 2003/04 season she was on stage at the Vienna Theater der Jugend , among other things in the title role of the Austrian premiere of Die Rote Zora und seine Gang , as Polly Jolly in Alan Ayckbourn's Magic Jollies , in the title role in Momo and as Mary in the world premiere of The Secret Garden by Thomas Birkmeir based on the novel of the same name by Frances Hodgson Burnett. As part of the award of the Nestroy Theater Prize 2006 she was for her portrayal of Miranda in Miranda Through the Looking Glass at the Theater of Youth as best young actress nominated. At the Summer Games in Perchtoldsdorf she appeared in 2007 as Gretchen in Goethe's Faust and in 2010 as Ophelia in Hamlet .

Theater in the Josefstadt

In 2008 she made her debut at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Die Judith von Shimoda , where in 2009 she took part in From the Lives of Marionettes and Youth Without God . She has been a permanent member of the ensemble since 2010 and has been there or at the Wiener Kammerspiele since 2010 in Heldenplatz , 2011 in the Drei Schwestern , 2012 in Jackpot , 2013 in the Mausefalle , 2014 in the stage version of Pretty Best Friends , 2015 in Der Gockel by Georges Feydeau, 2016 in the stage versions of Monsieur Claude and his daughters as well as Menschen im Hotel , 2017 in Harold and Maude and in 2018 alongside Maria Köstlinger , Bea Brocks, Therese Lohner and Ulli Fessl as one of five Madame Bovarys as well as in the crime comedy Eight Women by Robert Thomas seen as housekeeper Louise. In the faith and homeland of Karl Schönherr , she will play the role of Rottin in 2019 in Josefstadt alongside Raphael von Bargen as Christoph Rott.
