Rupil made her first appearance at a major international event at the Junior World Championships in 2002 in Schonach in the Black Forest , when she was ninth over five kilometers in free technique. A year later she could not repeat this result at the 2003 Junior World Championships in Sollefteå, Sweden . Over the five kilometers, which this time were held in classic style, she was 33rd and finished the sprint in 35th place. She ran her first World Cup race in December 2006 in Cogne , which she finished classically in 69th place over 10 km. Until 2010 she mainly competed in the Alpine Cup . She got three wins and won the overall standings in the 2008/09 season . In December 2009 she got her first World Cup points in Davos with 17th place in the 10 km freestyle. Her best individual placement in the World Cup was sixth in February 2010 in Canmore over 10 km freestyle. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , she reached 14th place over 10 km freestyle, 16th place in the pursuit race over 15 kilometers and fourth place with the relay. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , she again took fourth place with the relay. In the 2010/11 season she won a race with the relay in Rybinsk , while she did not finish in the mass start race over 30 kilometers. She finished the season in 48th place in the overall ranking and 29th in the distance ranking. At the Italian cross-country skiing championships in 2011, she won the pursuit race. These are her best World Cup results. In 2013 she ended her cross-country skiing career.
