Silvia Sperl (born October 2, 1991 in Siegen ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Sperl began her career in her hometown at TV Jahn Siegen. Until 2007 she played for the Westphalian league club TV Salchendorf . When the club had made it to the league, the outside attacker switched to the Iserlohn Panthers, who had just been promoted to the second division. In 2009, the level was no longer enough for her, and the daughter of a musician found a new challenge with the VC Olympia Dresden youth team. She later received a double right to play and trained with the Bundesliga team of the Dresdner SC . In 2010 she won the German U20 championship. She also played in the junior national team. From 2011 she was part of the squad of the first division team. In 2012 she moved to VfB 91 Suhl and in 2013 to the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg . Sperl played in the CEV Cup with Vilsbiburg . She won the DVV Cup in 2014 and was also German runner-up with the club . After these successes, Sperl left Vilsbiburg to look after her professional future.
