Simon Ehammer (born February 7, 2000 ) is a Swiss athlete who specializes in the decathlon , but also competes in the long jump .

Athletic career

Simon Ehammer gained his first international experience in 2017 when he finished 19th at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto with 6492 points. The following year he won 7,642 points at the U20 World Championships in Tampere and in 2019 he won the U20 European Championships in Borås, Sweden with 7,851 points, setting a new U20 national record.

In 2019 and 2020 Ehammer became Swiss champion in the decathlon, in 2019 in the long jump and in 2020 indoor champion in the indoor heptathlon and in the long jump.
