Simon Schlachter

Simon Schlachter (born June 23, 1992 in Füssen ) is a German chef .

Career

Schlachter comes from a family of restaurateurs. After training in 2007 at the Hotel Königshof in Munich , he went to the Le Canard restaurant in Hamburg (one Michelin star ) in 2011, to The Restaurant with Heiko Nieder at The Dolder Grand in Zurich (two Michelin stars) and to the Ophelia with Dirk Hoberg in Konstanz ( a Michelin star). In 2014 he moved to Schloss Schauenstein with Andreas Caminada , Fürstenau (two Michelin stars). In 2015 he made his master's degree at the hotel management school in Heidelberg . In 2016 he went to the IGNIVby Andreas Caminada restaurant in Bad Ragaz .

In 2017 he became head chef at the local family business Burghotel Falkenstein in Pfronten , where he also opened the Pavo restaurant . In 2020 it was awarded a Michelin star.
