D'Artois made his debut in Park City in January 2009 in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup and finished 26th in the halfpipe competition. Since 2010 he has also been participating in the AFP World Tour competitions. He achieved his first podium finish in February 2011 on the halfpipe with second place at the Gatorade FreeFlow Tour Finals in Huntsville . In the 2011/12 season he won the halfpipe at the US Revolution Tour in Copper Mountain and in slopestyle at the 7th Annual Showdown Hoedown Throwdown in Silver Star . At the 2013 World Championships in Voss , he finished ninth in the halfpipe competition.
In the 2013/14 season, d'Artois achieved his best World Cup placement to date with fifth place on the halfpipe in Calgary . That same season he won the Snowcrown Ski and Snowboard Festival in Blue Mountain and came third on the SFR Tour in Tignes . At the Winter X Games 2015 in Aspen , he won the gold medal on the superpipe . In March 2015, D'Artois finished second in the halfpipe competition of the Canadian Open Championship in Calgary. At the Winter X Games 2017 and at the World Championships 2017 he was ninth in the halfpipe. In the 2017/18 season he came third in Cardrona , Copper Mountain and Tignes and thus finished fourth in the Halfpipe World Cup. The Winter X Games 2018 in Aspen, he won seventh place at the Winter Olympics in 2018 in Pyeongchang the 13th Place.
With a win and a second place, d'Artois decided the halfpipe discipline ranking in the 2018/19 World Cup . At the 2019 World Championships in Park City , he just missed a medal as fourth in the halfpipe competition.
