Simone Del Nero (born August 4, 1981 in Ortonovo , Italy ) is an Italian football player who is mainly used as a striker .

Career

He has already played 44 games for Brescia Calcio in Serie A , the first Italian division, and scored two goals there. He played his first game on November 17, 2002 against Atalanta Bergamo (0-2), where he came on in the 78th minute. In the 2002/03 season he only played two games, each only as a substitute. In the 2003/04 season he made 21 games, but he was again mostly reserve player. He was substituted on 16 times, substituted three times and only played over 90 minutes once - on February 26, 2004 against Inter Milan , when he scored 2-1 in the 73rd minute of the game. He also scored the 1-0 (50th minute) against FC Bologna on May 15, 2005 . After this season, Brescia relegated to Serie B and Del Nero moved to Lazio . There he could not assert himself and was rarely used.
