Simone Derix
Simone Derix (* 1973 ) is a German historian .
Life
From 1993 to 2000 she studied Middle and Modern History, German Philology , Romance Studies and Political Science at the Universities of Cologne and Bologna . Since October 1, 2018, she has been teaching as holder of the Chair for Modern History and Contemporary History at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg .
Her research interests are the history of Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries in its transnational and global contexts, the history of wealth, assets and property systems, the cultural history of the political in an international perspective, and the history of families and relatives.
