Sina Klein
Sina Klein (* 1983 in Düsseldorf ) is a German poet and translator .
Life
Klein studied Romance Studies , English and German at the University of Düsseldorf . In her master's thesis she dealt with fourteen transcriptions of the poem "Ophélie" by Arthur Rimbaud . She has been working as an author since 2007. She has remained connected to her alma mater as a research assistant at the Chair of Romance Linguistics. She lives in her native city of Düsseldorf.
She has published in various literary journals, including Federwelt , Gegenstrophe , louder nobody , poet and Proto . In 2012 she reached the finals of the Munich Poetry Prize , and one year later she took part in the Literary March in Darmstadt . Her first volume of poetry “Narcotic Cherries” was published in 2014.
