Sinan Bakış (born April 22, 1994 in Troisdorf ) is a Turkish - German football player .

Career

Bakış was born in the North Rhine-Westphalian city ​​of Troisdorf . He began playing club football in the youth of Borussia Mönchengladbach and then played for the youth departments of Bonner SC and Bayer 04 Leverkusen . Following the U-20 World Cup in 2013 , in which Bakış had participated with the Turkish U-20 selection, he was targeted by the transfer departments of several Turkish first and second division teams. The Central Anatolian club Kayserispor responded the fastest in September 2013 and secured the services of Bakış for the next three years. In 2014 he was relegated to the second division with the club and returned to the Süper Lig after just one year in 2015 .

For the 2016/17 season he moved to Bursaspor . For the 2018/19 season he moved to Austria for FC Admira Wacker Mödling . For the Lower Austrians, he made a total of 52 appearances in the Bundesliga in two seasons and scored 16 goals. For the 2020/21 season Bakış moved to Heracles Almelo in the Netherlands , where he received a contract that ran until June 2023.

National team

Although Bakış was also eligible to play for the German youth national teams, his national team career started in 2012 with the Turkish U-19 selection. In 2012 and 2013 he ran a total of ten times for this youth national team.

As part of the U-20 World Cup in Turkey in 2013 , Bakış was appointed to the tournament line-up of the Turkish U-20 national team. Here you got to the last sixteen and were eliminated from the tournament by a 1: 4 defeat against the French selection. Bakış managed the only goal of his team in this round of 16 game.
