Sitara Hewitt
Sitara Hewitt (born December 27, 1981 in Elora , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress and model of Pakistani descent. She also appears under the name Tara Hewitt .
life and career
Sitara Hewitt was the daughter of Kenneth Hewitt , a Welshman, and his wife Farida Hewitt, who is Pakistani, in Elora, Ontario, where she also spent much of her childhood. Her parents are both professors at Wilfrid Laurier University . For some time she lived with her parents in the Himalayas , above all in the Gilgit-Baltistan region , where her parents did academic research.
Hewitt first appeared in front of the camera in 2002 when she took on the role of a dancer in the movie Bollywood Hollywood . This was followed by appearances in a few short films before she was seen in The Lookalike in 2006 . From 2007 to 2012 she worked as Rayyan Mamoudi in the CBC - comedy series Little Mosque seen. Further series appearances follow, for example in My Crazy Sex , Escape the Night or Criminal Minds . In addition to her acting appearances, Hewitt occasionally moderates television shows, for example for Sportsnet or the WWE .
In 2014 she voiced the video game Far Cry 4 .
Private
Hewitt was married to American actor Jessie Pavelka for a while before they divorced in 2016. During the marriage she lived alternately in Toronto and Los Angeles . She was brought up according to the Christian faith and speaks fluent Urdu and some Tibetan language Balti in addition to her mother tongue English .
