Sivaslı is a city in the Turkish province of Uşak and the capital of the district of the same name. The city is located 35 km southeast of Uşak . According to the city seal, the place received the status of a municipality ( Belediye ) in 1948 .
The county
The district borders in the north on the Banaz County , in the northwest and west on the central district ( Merkez ) of Uşak and in the southwest on the Karahallı County . It forms external borders with the province of Afyonkarahisar in the east and with the province of Denizli in the south.
The district is divided into the district town (35.17% of the district's population) and three other municipalities ( Belediye ): Pınarbaşı (1,964), Selçikler (1,922) and Tatar (1,975 inhabitants). 18 villages ( Köy ) with 7,801 inhabitants also belong to the district (433 inhabitants per village). Yayalar (1,695) and Eldeniz (1,005 inh .) Are the largest villages. Sivaslı County has a surplus of men (2018: 10,438 / 10,315).
