World Skat Championship
The World Skat Championship has been held by the World Skat Association ISPA every two years at different locations since 1978 . It alternates regularly with the European Skat Championship , which has been organized by the same association since 1979. In addition to the title of skat world champion, a women's world champion, a youth world champion, a senior world champion and a senior world champion are also played.
In addition, since 1980 there has been a rating for the best team and the best mixed team.
Furthermore, from 1992 a national ranking was introduced.
