Slatina ( Cyrillic : Слатина ) is a village in the Opština Bor and Okrug Bor in eastern Serbia .
It is located five kilometers southeast of Bor at about 250 m altitude on the main road from Bor to Zaječar . The river Borska reka flows through Slatina . The place has a train station on the Bor - Zaječar line.
Residents
The 2002 census (self-named) showed that 921 people live in the village.
There is no absolute majority in Slatina. The largest ethnic group are the Wallachians , followed by the Serbs . Yugoslavs , Romanians and Roma also live in the village . As well as nine Germans . The majority of the population belongs to the Serbian Orthodox Church .
