Šarbanovac ( Cyrillic : Шарбановац ) is a village in Opština Bor and Okrug Bor in eastern Serbia .

It is located eleven kilometers south of Bor near the Crni Timok River .

Residents

The 2002 census (self-named) showed that 1,836 people live in the village. The Wallachians made up a majority of 51% . The Serbs are the second largest ethnic group with 41%, followed by Romanians , Slavic Macedonians , Croats and Yugoslavs . The majority of the residents belong to the Serbian Orthodox Church .
