Slavko Popadic

Slavko Popadic (* 1991 in Mostar , Bosnia-Herzegovina ) is a Croatian- German actor .

Life

Slavko Popadic, who grew up with Croatian and Bosnian as mother tongues, came to Germany as a civil war refugee in the course of the Bosnian War, where his family settled near Cologne .

From 2015 to 2019 he completed his acting studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts . During his training he had theater appearances in the Folkwang Theater Center and in "Zeche 1", the secondary theater of the Bochum theater .

Popadic now works mainly for cinema and television. In the feature film Bonnie & Bonnie , which premiered at the Emden-Norderney International Film Festival in June 2019 , he played the older brother of 17-year-old Yara, who comes from Albania and has a love affair with a girl of the same age, from which her father and Brother are not allowed to know anything.

In the Netflix series Skylines (2019) he had a serial role as the petty criminal hooligan Dejan.

In the Berlin crime scene: The afterlife (first broadcast: November 2019) of the investigative team Rubin and Karow he played, u. a. at the side of Otto Mellies , the neighborhood social worker Adnan Jasari who works for an outpatient social service.

In the Hamburg Tatort: ​​Die goldene Zeit (first broadcast: February 2020) he took on the role of the young leader of an Albanian neighborhood clan as Krenar Zekaj. In the 4th season of the ZDF series Professor T. (2020) Popadic took on one of the episode roles as Cologne tabloid journalist Niels Blomkamp.

In 2019, Popadic stood in front of the camera for another film from the TV series Nord on Nordwest , in which he plays a young man who has gotten involved with the wrong people and has to repay his debts.

Popadic lives in the Cologne area.
