Snežana Pajkić

Snežana Pajkić ( Serbian- Kyrill. Снежана Пајкић, born September 23, 1970 in Ćuprija ) is a former Yugoslav athlete of Serb nationality. With a height of 1.69 m, her competition weight was 51 kg.

She was already very successful in the junior sector. She won bronze in 1986 and silver in 1988 at the Junior World Championships in the 1500 meter run . In 1987 and 1989 she was Junior European Champion.

At the European Championships in Split in 1990 , two Yugoslav athletes won gold and both were only 19 years old. While the high jumper Dragutin Topić won medals at international championships for over a decade, Snežana Pajkić never again achieved a placement in the top eight. Her only success in the adult division was her victory in Split. She won in 4: 08.12 minutes ahead of German Ellen Kießling and Swiss Sandra Gasser , who were both half a second behind.
