In terms of area and population, Soislieden is the smallest district of the municipality of Hohenroda in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district in East Hesse .

The place is on the edge of the forest at the foot of the Soisberg in the Landecker Amt in the Rhön .

history

The small town was first mentioned in a document in 1585. On January 1, 1970, the village was incorporated into Mansbach . This came to the new Hohenroda community on February 1, 1971.
