The Soiwa ( Russian Со́йва ) is a left tributary of the Severnaya Mylwa in the Komi Republic in northwestern Russia .
It rises on the Timan ridge near the source of the Wytschegda . It flows mainly in an easterly direction. The settlement Nizhnyaya Omra is located on the north bank of the Soiwa at river kilometer 40. The Soiwa flows into the Severnaya Mylwa after 154 km, about 10 km south of the district administrative center Troizko- Pechorsk . The Soiwa belongs to the Pechora river system . Its catchment area covers 1790 km². At the end of October / beginning of November the river freezes. At the end of April / beginning of May the Soiwa is ice-free again. Its mean discharge (MQ) 24 km above the mouth is around 20 m³ / s.
