Sokilez ( Ukrainian Сокілець ; Russian Соколец Sokolez , Polish Sokulec ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Ternopil Oblast with about 250 inhabitants (2001).

In Sokilez is the wooden church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin, built in 1635, according to other sources, in 1681 .

Since October 2015, Sokilez belongs administratively to the rural municipality of Sokoliw ( Золотопотіцька територіальна громада ). Until then it was part of the district council of Mykolaivka ( Миколаївка ). in the south of the Butschach district .

The village is located near the confluence of the 147 km long Strypa in the Dniester , 9 km southeast of the Sokoliv community center ( Соколів ), 25 km south of the Rajon center of Butschach and about 90 km south of the Ternopil oblast center .
