The Solin is a river in France that runs in the Loiret department in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises near the hamlet of La Brenaudière in the municipality of Le Moulinet-sur-Solin , generally drains north to northeast through the landscape of the Gâtinais orléanais and flows into the Loing after 33 kilometers in the municipality of Châlette-sur-Loing as a left tributary . Just before its mouth of Solin passes under the ship channel Canal de Briare , the the Loing than here side channel accompanied.
