Solomon Kirwa Yego

Solomon Kirwa Yego (born May 10, 1987 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner . His preferred routes are the half marathon and the marathon .

After his victory in the Ostia half marathon in 2016, Yego was third in the all-time world ranking for this discipline with a time of 58:44 minutes . Only two runners ahead of him, Zersenay Tadese and Samuel Wanjiru , ever ran a faster half marathon time.
