Sonja Fiedler-Tresp , also Sonja Fiedler (* 1972 in Braunschweig ), is a German author , translator and editor .

Life

Fiedler-Tresp graduated from the Raabeschule grammar school in Braunschweig and studied German and pedagogy at the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg and the University of Antwerp . She worked as an editor in a children's book publisher. She has been working as a freelance writer, editor and translator since 2000 . She lives in Neu-Ulm .

Fiedler-Tresp writes texts for picture books and translates children's and youth literature from Dutch , English and French into German . In addition, in 2016 she wrote a guide on the subject of "home exchange".

Fiedler-Tresp is a member of the Association of German -Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works , the Association of Freelance Lecturers and the “ Bookwomen ” network .
