The Xperia X1 is the first model in Sony Ericsson's Xperia range . The Xperia X1 was first introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2008.
Basic data
The X1 is an ARC slider with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional as the operating system . It is Sony Ericsson's first smartphone with Windows Mobile.
The X1 has a 3 " touchscreen and a full QWERTY keyboard. The WVGA display has 65,536 colors and is able to automatically switch to landscape format when the keyboard is open. In addition, there is a camera with 3, 2 megapixels, which can take pictures with a resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels and video at 30 frames per second and a resolution of up to 640 × 480 pixels. In addition, a small QCIF camera is attached to the front of the phone for video calls. The X1 has 512 MB of internal memory, about 400 MB of which can be used for your own data, which can be expanded to a maximum of 32 GB using a microSD memory card .
The device has a Qualcomm ARM 11 MSM7200A 528 MHz dual core CPU (the US version an MSM7201A) with a clock frequency of 528 MHz. The virtual memory is 384 MB (256 MB main memory + 128 MB graphics memory).

It was produced on behalf of Sony Ericsson by HTC under the name Kovsky, who had a very similar mobile phone on the market with the HTC Touch Diamond and HTC Touch Pro .
