Sophie Gustafson (born December 2, 1973 in Varberg , Sweden ) is a Swedish professional golfer .

She became a golf pro in 1992 and initially played for three years mainly on the regional Swedish Telia Tour . In 1995 Gustafson became a member of the Ladies European Tour (LET) and in 1997 she won her first tournament there. From 1998 she also played on the North American LPGA Tour , where she won her first tournament victory in 2000. That year Gustafson also won the Women's British Open , but it was not until a year later that it got LPGA major status , and at the end of the season the LET's money list. In 2003, 2007 and 2009 she was again first in the LET Order of Merit . So far she has collected a total of 28 international titles.

In the Solheim Cup , she was continuously represented in the European team since 1998.
