Sophie Linnenbaum
Sophie Linnenbaum (* 1986 in Nuremberg) is a German film director , screenwriter , playwright and film producer .
Life
Sophie Linnenbaum studied psychology at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg . Since October 2013 she has been studying film directing at the Babelsberg Film University .
Her short films are shown at numerous national and international festivals. The multiple award-winning "[Out of Fra] me" received a. a. the Audience Award & Best European Production 2017 Filmfest München . "Exchange of Opinions" (together with Sophia Bösch) premiered at the 2016 Berlinale and was presented as the "Short Tiger" winner of the Cannes Film Festival 2017. The short film "Pix" was awarded the German Short Film Prize in 2017 .
Sophie Linnenbaum has been dramatizing children's books with children's book author Thomas Klischke since 2007 and developing theater texts for children and young people.
