Sophie von Hessen-Kassel (born September 12, 1615 in Kassel , † November 22, 1670 in Bückeburg ) was a princess of Hessen-Kassel and, by marriage, Countess zu Schaumburg-Lippe .

Life

Sophie was a daughter of Landgrave Moritz von Hessen-Kassel (1572–1632) from his marriage to Juliane (1587–1643), daughter of Count Johann von Nassau-Dillenburg .
