The Sotzbach is one of the largest tributaries of the Reichenbach in the Vogelsberg , to which it flows from the left near Hellstein in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse .

The Sotzbach rises northeast of Obersotzbach in the western tip of the Aurora forest . Very soon in the corridor, it flows through the towns of Ober- and Untersotzbach in a southerly direction, then takes in the Struthbach and Krötenbach tributaries from the left and flows south of Hellstein from the left into the Reichenbach , which it previously almost always flows into ran parallel to a distance of one to one and a half kilometers.
