Spacelord [ speɪs lɔ: d ] one is the song of the psychedelic rock band Monster Magnet from music album Power Strip in 1998. The single and the associated by Joseph Kahn twisted music video were a great success for the rock band.

The song reached number 3 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart and number 29 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. A remixed version was also arranged and released along with the original on their greatest hits album. The music video was first broadcast on the MTV chart show Total Request Live on September 14, 1998 .

In order to make the song more suitable for radio and television, the original line of the song "Space lord, motherfucker" of the chorus was shortened and an echo was added, so that the line now sounds like "Space lord, mother, mother". The singing rhythm remained unchanged. The uncensored version with the original lyrics can be found on the Intergalactic 7 Remix , the Greatest Hits Album and the unofficial Monster Bootnet Remix by Boys Noize .
