action
Alison Shaeffer works for a publishing house. She is engaged to Peter, who does not propose to her as expected. Alison and her mother Gloria - Alison has already been disappointed many times - then want to go on vacation together. Gloria is kidnapped at the airport.
Alison learns that her mother works undercover for the CIA. She manages to free Gloria, with whom she is reconciled. She also breaks up with Peter. Alison considers writing a book about what happened.
