Jayne Brook

Jayne Brook (* 16th September 1960 as Jane Anderson in Northbrook , Illinois ) is an American actress .

Life

She graduated from Glenbrook North High School in 1978 and Duke University in 1982 . Brook's interest in acting was piqued while in college when she took Professor John Clum's acting class. She gained her first acting experience at the age of 19 as Blanche DuBois in the play Endstation Sehnsucht . She later moved to England to complete her education.

Brook had her first film role in 1987 in Superman IV . Afterwards she played in several films, for example in Kindergarten Cop , Last Dance , Bye Bye, Love and Gattaca . However, she became better known through her television appearances, especially in the role of Dr. Diane Grad in Chicago Hope . But she also starred in other series such as television fever , Sirens , The District , John Doe and Boston Legal with. She starred in the first episode of the second season of Without a Trace .

Brook has been married to John Terlesky since 1996 and has a daughter who was born in 1998.
