Sprögnitz is a village and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Großgöttfritz in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 45 building areas with 37,997 m² and 14 gardens on 10,256 m² in the cadastral municipality Sprögnitz , in 1989/1990 there were 49 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 115 and in 2009/2010 there were 56 buildings on 120 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 332 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 179 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 317 hectares and 192 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 306 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 194 hectares. Sprögnitz's average soil climate is 26.3 (as of 2010).
